Crop Help is a free web app that gives you an AI plant-health diagnosis from a single photo — in seconds, with no setup. This page covers getting started, fixing sign-in issues, reading your results, and reaching a human.

Getting started

You can run your first scan in under a minute. No garden or other setup is required.

  1. Sign up at app.crophelp.ai/signup with your email.
  2. Verify your email by clicking the link in the confirmation message we send you.
  3. Log in at app.crophelp.ai/login.
  4. Upload a photo (scan) of your plant — a clear, well-lit, close-up shot of the affected leaf or area works best.
  5. Get your diagnosis in seconds, with treatment and prevention guidance.

Trouble signing in or verifying your email

  • No verification email? Check your spam or junk folder, and make sure you entered your address correctly. The link can take a couple of minutes to arrive.
  • Link expired or already used? Return to the login page and request a fresh verification email, then click the most recent link.
  • Forgot your password? Use the password-reset option on the login page to set a new one.
  • Still locked out? Reach out using the contact options below and we will help you get back in.

How to read your diagnosis

Each diagnosis is built from your photo and includes:

  • Health status — healthy, unhealthy, or inconclusive.
  • Disease name — the identified condition, with its scientific name.
  • Severity — mild, moderate, or severe.
  • Symptoms — what was observed in the photo.
  • Treatment recommendations — suggested steps to address the issue.
  • Preventive measures — how to reduce the risk going forward.

If a result comes back inconclusive, try another photo that is closer, sharper, and better lit, focused on the affected area.

Free access and upload limits

Crop Help is completely free to use — there are no payments, subscriptions, or billing. Access is governed by simple usage quotas (a number of uploads per day, week, and month). If you reach a limit, your quota resets after the period rolls over.

Gardens (optional)

You can scan straight from the home screen without any setup. If you would like to organize scans by location, you can optionally create a garden. Garden creation is currently available in Canada only, as it requires a Canadian address.

Classrooms (for educators)

Crop Help includes a built-in classrooms feature for schools and programs. A teacher or administrator can batch-create student accounts with a shared password and a shared upload quota over a time-boxed session — so a whole class can start scanning together, no individual sign-ups required.
